Kids will gain entry to the Dubai Aquarium &amp; Underwater Zoo and enjoy a glass-bottom boat ride, a Behind the Scenes Tour of the massive, world-class venue and engage in a bit of fish feeding. The fun continues at Dubai Ice Rink before making their way to KidZania.



Additionally, participants will gain access to PlayDXB and receive a ticket to catch a movie at Reel Cinemas!



At, At the Top, Burj Khalifa, children will embark on a tour and sightseeing adventure at one of the highest observation decks in the world and will leave with a souvenir.



At the end of the unforgettable time spent at The Dubai Mall Summer Camp, the little ones will also obtain a certificate of completion.

In 2010, Dubai Aquarium &amp; Underwater Zoo was the first facility in the region to introduce Gentoo penguins. The flightless charismatic birds are brought back today through an ultra modern exhibit and an encounter that will enhance the visitors experience like no other, thus setting a new benchmark.



The Dubai Aquarium &amp; Underwater Zoo Gentoo penguins came from a facility in the USA, in the wild, they can be found in their natural habitat around the Antarctic peninsula and Subantarctic islands. We have a purpose built temperature controlled facility to replicate the Subantarctic environmental conditions. Our air temperature is kept between 2 and 4 degrees celcius and our water temperature is between 5 and 7 degrees. We also have a special lighting system that replicates their annual light cycle. Penguin winter time is during our summer! The exhibit is multi-level and has lots of exciting areas for the penguins to climb on and explore, including a slide into the pool.



Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo is home to a total of 16 beautiful Gentoo penguins – 8 male, 8 female. A visit to the “Penguin Cove” will be part of the Aqua Nursery experiences tickets as a first step until the launch of the “Penguin Encounter” by early August. The all-new immersive encounter allows guests to step inside the Penguin Cove habitat and go face-to-feather with the colony of live Gentoo penguins while learning about their fascinating natural behaviors.

This family-friendly experience will educate guests about shark species and how the creatures are taken care of at Dubai Aquarium &amp; Underwater Zoo. The educational content will be all about their environment, feeding, and breeding habits, while visitors also get to go behind the scenes in assisting the aquarium staff in training Bamboo Sharks and Leopard Sharks. Submerged to about waist height in waterproof waders, visitors can get into the tank for a unique “trainer” experience and interact with the sharks.

Dubai Aquarium &amp; Underwater Zoo is home to a family of Asian small-clawed otters.



This species of otters is the smallest of all 13 otter species and is native to Asia. Visitors can go behind the scenes for an exclusive tour of the otters’ home in the Underwater Zoo and can interact with these cute and charismatic animals. There is also a special educational presentation on otters. The Asian small-clawed Otter, a highly threatened species, is the smallest breed of Otter in the world, weighing less than 5 kilograms. Carnivorous in nature, they live in streams, rivers, marshes, and rice patties and feed on crustaceans, snails, fish, and insects. Otters have a huge appetite and can eat up to 20% of their body weight daily. They are intelligent animals and great at using tools such as pick up rocks and using it to break open shellfish. Dubai Aquarium &amp; Underwater Zoo has established an active otter breeding program to ensure its commitment to their survival, working at the same time closely with conservationists, local community, wildlife organizations, and government entities to drive the protection of Otters.

Weighing in at a whopping 750 kg&#8217;s and measuring over 5m in length, this massive 40-year-old creature is originally native to Australia and is a wonder of the animal kingdom. Originally spotted measuring only 2.4m in length and dubbed a ‘problem’ crocodile by the locals, the soon to be King Croc was quickly moved from the Botanic Gardens that he had taken over, to a more protected environment located in Queensland, Australia. Regular meals and a protected environment provided King Croc with the perfect conditions to become one of nature’s most feared and powerful reptiles to ever live. Already one of the largest in the world, King Croc is expected to grow much bigger over the next 50 years. The giant reptile is 40 years old and weighs in at an impressive 750kg. He’s joined by his female companion ‘Queen Croc’ who is over 80 years old! Australian Saltwater crocodiles feed primarily on fish, small reptiles, and wading birds, but have also been known to feed on much larger prey, such as wild pig and water buffalo. Labeled a ‘problem’ crocodile due to his aggressive nature, the King Croc must remain in a protected environment to avoid potential conflicts with other male crocodiles and humans.

In 2010, Dubai Aquarium &amp; Underwater Zoo was the first facility in the region to introduce Gentoo penguins. The flightless charismatic birds are brought back today through an ultra modern exhibit and an encounter that will enhance the visitors experience like no other, thus setting a new benchmark. The Dubai Aquarium &amp; Underwater Zoo Gentoo penguins came from a facility in the USA, in the wild, they can be found in their natural habitat around the Antarctic peninsula and Sub Antarctic islands. We have a purpose built temperature controlled facility to replicate the Sub Antarctic environmental conditions. Our air temperature is kept between 2 and 4 degrees Celsius and our water temperature is between 5 and 7 degrees. We also have a special lighting system that replicates their annual light cycle. Penguin winter time is during our summer! The exhibit is multi-level and has lots of exciting areas for the penguins to climb on and explore, including a slide into the pool. Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo is home to a total of 16 beautiful Gentoo penguins – 8 male, 8 female. This immersive encounter allows guests to step inside the Penguin Cove habitat and go face-to-feather with the colony of live Gentoo penguins while learning about their fascinating natural behaviours.

Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo is home to thousands of aquatic animals, including 400 Sharks and Rays in a 10 million litre tank. Our carefully designed experiences allow visitors to come face to face with our aquatic residents for memorable moments with friends and family.
