Kids will gain entry to the Dubai Aquarium &amp; Underwater Zoo and enjoy a glass-bottom boat ride, a Behind the Scenes Tour of the massive, world-class venue and engage in a bit of fish feeding. The fun continues at Dubai Ice Rink before making their way to KidZania.



Additionally, participants will gain access to PlayDXB and receive a ticket to catch a movie at Reel Cinemas!



At, At the Top, Burj Khalifa, children will embark on a tour and sightseeing adventure at one of the highest observation decks in the world and will leave with a souvenir.

In 2010, Dubai Aquarium &amp; Underwater Zoo was the first facility in the region to introduce Gentoo penguins. The flightless charismatic birds are brought back today through an ultra modern exhibit and an encounter that will enhance the visitors experience like no other, thus setting a new benchmark.



The Dubai Aquarium &amp; Underwater Zoo Gentoo penguins came from a facility in the USA, in the wild, they can be found in their natural habitat around the Antarctic peninsula and Subantarctic islands. We have a purpose built temperature controlled facility to replicate the Subantarctic environmental conditions. Our air temperature is kept between 2 and 4 degrees celcius and our water temperature is between 5 and 7 degrees. We also have a special lighting system that replicates their annual light cycle. Penguin winter time is during our summer! The exhibit is multi-level and has lots of exciting areas for the penguins to climb on and explore, including a slide into the pool.



Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo is home to a total of 16 beautiful Gentoo penguins – 8 male, 8 female. A visit to the “Penguin Cove” will be part of the Aqua Nursery experiences tickets as a first step until the launch of the “Penguin Encounter” by early August. The all-new immersive encounter allows guests to step inside the Penguin Cove habitat and go face-to-feather with the colony of live Gentoo penguins while learning about their fascinating natural behaviors.

Weighing in at a whopping 750 kg&#8217;s and measuring over 5m in length, this massive 40-year-old creature is originally native to Australia and is a wonder of the animal kingdom. Originally spotted measuring only 2.4m in length and dubbed a ‘problem’ crocodile by the locals, the soon to be King Croc was quickly moved from the Botanic Gardens that he had taken over, to a more protected environment located in Queensland, Australia. Regular meals and a protected environment provided King Croc with the perfect conditions to become one of nature’s most feared and powerful reptiles to ever live. Already one of the largest in the world, King Croc is expected to grow much bigger over the next 50 years. The giant reptile is 40 years old and weighs in at an impressive 750kg. He’s joined by his female companion ‘Queen Croc’ who is over 80 years old! Australian Saltwater crocodiles feed primarily on fish, small reptiles, and wading birds, but have also been known to feed on much larger prey, such as wild pig and water buffalo. Labeled a ‘problem’ crocodile due to his aggressive nature, the King Croc must remain in a protected environment to avoid potential conflicts with other male crocodiles and humans.

RAY FEEDING Watch these graceful creatures fly through the water and eat from our Diver’s hands. Daily Ray Feeding at 10:30 am. SHARK FEEDING Dinnertime at the Aquarium is never dull. Every day at 2 pm*, Our team of Divers dive into our 10-million liter tank and feed our resident Sharks. Don’t try this at home! Make sure you purchase your Aquarium Tunnel ticket for the best vantage point 11 meters under the surface! *timings subject to change KING CROC FEEDING You can now witness King Croc, one of the world’s largest reptiles, and his female companion of 20 years, take the fiercest bite by any animal, at an estimated 3,700 pounds per square inch, during their feeding sessions daily at Dubai Aquarium &amp; Underwater Zoo. ANIMAL PRESENTATIONS Our experienced Educators are positioned throughout Dubai Aquarium &amp; Underwater Zoo to answer any of your questions. Regular presentations and feedings are conducted daily with our Otters at 02:30 pm and Piranhas at 02:45 pm. Timings are subject to change. 



GLASS-BOTTOM BOAT RIDES Experience a breath-taking view of the deep through our Glass-Bottom Boat rides at Dubai Aquarium &amp; Underwater Zoo. You and your friends can ride on the surface of the world’s largest suspended tank containing 10 million liters of water. Enjoy a bird’s eye view of over 33,000 aquatic animals, featuring over 70 species, including sharks and rays! All you have to do is sit back, relax, and enjoy your guided tour. For Glass-Bottom Boat Rides, make your way to Underwater Zoo on Level 2. Rides depart every 10 to 20 minutes. With a capacity of 10 people per boat, departure times are subject to availability. Children under 2 years old and pregnant ladies are not permitted to ride the Glass-Bottom Boats.
